According to the report, the aggregated efficiency indicator of the Tomsk special economic zone over the last year was 100%, and the same for the entire period of the SEZ existence is 96%. Both the indicators mean that the special economic zone is operating in an efficient way.
The Tomsk special economic zone has achieved 100%-and-above figures over the planned ones in other categories as well. As on the end of the last year, the SEZ had 69 registered residents, which complies with the plan. At the same time, the number of residents registered in 2016 was 180% of the plan.
In terms of jobs created, the Tomsk special economic zone has exceeded the plan by 107%, resulting in 1822 jobs.
The amount of investment made by SEZ residents over the last year exceeded 2.5 million rubles, which is 224% of the plan. Over its entire operation, the indicator exceeded 10 million rubles or 119% of the plan.
The Tomsk special economic zone is also a leader in terms of tax paid by residents to Russian budgets of all levels. Over the time of SEZ operation, more than 1.5 billion rubles of taxes were paid or 105% of the plan, of which over 300 million in 2016.

In 2016, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and the Tomsk Region Administration signed the Agreement on the transfer of authority to manage the Tomsk special economic zone to the regional administration.
