Advantages not Only for Residents

“INO Tomsk’ 2020” gives an impetus to the development of Tomsk scientific and educational and innovative complex and brings significant advantage both to the region and the whole country. I will be fixing on positive impact of the project on Tomsk SEZ.

“INOTomsk’ 2020” concept pays special attention to three components. The first one is the development of scientific and educational complex which primarily includes construction of a campus for students and TUSUR business-incubator. New dormitories will create more comfortable environment which will allow attracting more talented young people including those from abroad. It is important for us since we strive to attract residents not only from Russia but also foreign companies. A business-incubator is necessary for students to obtain primary practical knowledge about business-processes that will be demanded by companies-residents of Tomsk SEZ.

Another components is directly associated with science-intensive product manufacture. The SEZ plays a key role here since high-tech manufacturing companies are located here with all preferences, benefits and prepared land plots as provided by the Russian legislation.

The third component is transport accessibility. It concerns not only SEZ sites but also other objects of the future Educational and R&D Center. Reconstruction of roads leading to the Northern site is of major concern for the SEZ. It refers to Michurina street and Kuzovlevsky trakt.  Another transport project mentioned in the government decree of October 6 is the road “Akademgorodok – airport”.  Not only residents of the SEZ but all citizens of Tomsk will benefit from it.

The following component stated in the decree is the creation of comfortable living environment. Large foreign companies pay special attention to his factor when making a decision about establishment of their departments in a country, region or city. Of course, comfortable living conditions shall be created not only for participants of the companies – SEZ residents but for all Tomsk citizens.

“INO Tomsk’ 2020” project is undoubtedly critically important and will give an additional impetus to SEZ development.
